La Bastide des Plaines is located at 3 chemin de Las Planos, in Brézilhac, in the Aude department.
This address already tells part of the story of the place. “Las Planos” is an Occitan name meaning “The Plains”.
In the past, Occitan was the everyday language throughout this region, and many roads, hamlets and localities have retained their original names.
The Plaines district lives up to its name. It is surrounded by vast agricultural lands, gentle hills and landscapes typical of the Lauragais region of the Aude.
For generations, this countryside has set the rhythm of the inhabitants' lives throughout the seasons.
Even today, you can still find the calm, the authenticity and the gentle way of life that make up the charm of our region.
